Our Story
how it all began
Our relationship first started with a deep friendship where our shared faith in Jesus Christ is central. Our relationship has grown but we are still best friends and have a lot of fun together.
Family is also important to both of us and we have really enjoyed getting to know each others children and extended families.
Proposal
One place which is very special to both of us is an annual gathering called Big Church Festival. There is a beautiful ancient stone chapel there where Doug proposed - not long after Rachel said 'yes' there were surprise fireworks!
Our Wedding Venue
We both work for an amazing charity called London City Mission. Every year we hold our annual Thanksgiving Service in a beautiful church with an inspiring history called Westminster Chapel.
It's an wonderful place to give thanks to God and celebrate our wedding with family and friends.

Wedding Gifts

We will be planning a short, simple honeymoon. A few weeks after our wedding, we are hoping to visit Doug's Mother in Kerela, India.
